Dr. Alkhalil completed his residency training at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. He then completed his fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Sleep Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He then also completed Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of South Florida, Tampa. Dr. Alkhalil is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Allergy & Immunology.

Dr. Rahal is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Henry Ford Hospital. She then completed fellowships in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Rahal is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kobernick is an allergist and immunologist with focus on care of allergic disease in patients of all ages. He spent 7 years as the Section Chief of Allergy and Immunology at the University of Utah, where he taught clinical immunology and allergy to medical students, studied health disparities in asthma, and founded and grew a division to provide superb clinical care for the intermountain west. Dr. Kobernick is board certified in pediatrics and adult internal medicine, and sees patients of all ages. In his spare time, you can find him enjoying beautiful Michigan with his wife and 4 children.

Bryce graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University. Bryce has over 4 years of multispecialty clinical experience in sleep medicine, allergy, and asthma. He enjoys golfing, boardgames, Mel Brooks films, and spending time with family and friends.

Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Nurses credentialing certification. Christine earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University and pursued a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She has been working in Sleep Medicine since she graduated in 2019. She enjoys attending speaker conferences about the newest insomnia and narcolepsy treatments.

Jenell graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing as well as a Master’s degree in Nursing. She has worked in healthcare since she was 18 years of age. She gained medical expertise working as an emergency room nurse for 6 years and as a technician for the 7 years prior. She now specializes in Sleep Medicine at our clinic. Jenell takes pride in caring for her patients and educating them on how to manage their health for long term prosperity.

Georgia is a graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy’s BS + MS-PAS
Accelerated 5-Year Physician Assistant Program. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2020, magna cum laude, and Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. Georgia has been working in the Urgent Care setting as of February of 2023, where she has treated a wide variety of patient populations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing Pilates or walking. Georgia has trained alongside Dr. Kobernick and is eager to continue her practice and developing her skills in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Peggy has worked in the medical field for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005 and has since worked primarily in Emergency Medicine, while also specializing in Sleep Medicine. Her focus is to respectfully treat each patient based on their individual needs through the combination of conventional and holistic medicine in order to live a happy and healthy life.

Dalal earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from Michigan State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Oakland University. Prior to PA school, she gained experience in multiple specialities, including emergency medicine, family medicine, and dermatology. She is passionate about helping patients improve their overall health and is committed to educating and supporting them throughout their healthcare journey. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her patients and providing compassionate, individualized care in Sleep Medicine. When she is not caring for patients, Dalal enjoys pilates, exercising, and making memories with family and friends.
